Humanity can overcome the challenges of climate change

Climate change is a serious problem and the effects can clearly be seen through new and extreme weather. I think that many people have under estimated climate change, because they automatically associate it with global warming and do not believe that it is real. However, it is a huge and growing concern. Climate change is an accepted scientific consensus proven by a large amount of data. The first step to impacting climate change is to change this mistaken view. By stressing the amount of evidence showing that climate exists, the need to work to reduce it will become apparent. Then, actions can be made to slow climate change. Climate change is largely influenced by human activities and the production of greenhouse gases.



One of the greatest challenges with climate change is its intangibility. The scope is just too large to grasp, and many of the most noticeable impacts are  still too far removed from our daily lives.  For some, climate change becomes either overwhelmingly challenging or abstract enough that it is easy to ignore.“The   ongoing climate crisis and pandemic has brought profound effects and impacts in   our society. Despite limitations, we want     to utilize this week to encourage individual actions and convene the public and private sectors to address this dual threat and contribute towards green recovery,” DENR Secretary Roy A. Cimatu said. With this year’s theme “Adapting for a Sustainable Future,” the annual week-long celebration aims to create awareness on global warming and climate change by pursuing broad and intensive public information and education campaigns to secure the cooperation of the private and public sectors . Hence,education is an essential element of the global response to climate change. It helps people understand and address the impact of global warming, increases “climate literacy” among young people, encourages changes in their attitudes and behaviour, and helps them adapt to climate change related trends. Education and awareness-raising enable informed decision-making, play an essential role in increasing adaptation and mitigation capacities of communities, and empower women and men to adopt sustainable lifestyles.



By furthering the awareness of environmental problems,  the populous needs to understand that combating these issues is within their reach and they  can positively benefit the environment through simple actions. Everyone knows that climate change is real and happening now. What many people don’t know is that we have the solutions in our hands. To prevent climate change, we will have to do our part and learn to live a green life.                              Most importantly,
the world needs to work together to reach these outlined goals. Saving the Earth is a global concern and should be treated as one. Hopefully, humanity will realize the importance of environmental issues and find a way to make the world a better place in the future.

It is now the final Quarter. Overall, this school year has been a fantastic learning experience. In our ICT class, I learned a lot throughout the school year. This quarter, we familiarized ourselves with the fundamental ideas of Microsoft FrontPage, such as the many parts of it and the significance of MS FrontPage. Viva Vigan Binatbatan Festival of the Arts celebrated from the last week of April to the first week of May was originally the Feast of the Natives that began on May 3, 1883, according to the writings of Damaso King, a well-known Vigan historian.  Binatbatan Festival celebrations, which includes a street dancing competition. Binatbatan dancing is connected to Vigan’s abel Iloco craft. The dance depicts how cotton pods are beaten with bamboo sticks to release the cotton fluff called batbat from its seed.
