What I've learned

Another chapter begins as one concludes.
I gain a lot of lessons as I progress down the path and begin my journey in 3rd Quarter in ICT Subject. It was a great deal of enjoyment for me to do so. However, there were a few challenges this 3rd Quarter.


We concentrated on community-based research in the third quarter. However, we continue to publish blogs and leave comments on blogs. I learned a lot about our own community by focusing on community-based research. And I was given the opportunity to learn more about our community. I also discovered that community-based research can contribute significantly to our understanding of how local environments affect a population's health. Challenges and failures are necessary for learning. I had some troubles in ICT Subject throughout the third quarter, but I remained calm and tough and tried my best to overcome them.


Moving on, every quarter I will continue to learn new lessons. And I am grateful because, even though we are currently in the midst of a pandemic, I have given the opportunity to get new knowledge and learn lessons centered on a Community-based Research in ICT Subject.
All I need to do is to apply those lessons in my everyday life for I know that they are useful and will forever be relevant in my life as a person- student.

It is now the final Quarter. Overall, this school year has been a fantastic learning experience. In our ICT class, I learned a lot throughout the school year. This quarter, we familiarized ourselves with the fundamental ideas of Microsoft FrontPage, such as the many parts of it and the significance of MS FrontPage. We do, however, continue to write and publish  blogs and make comments on them. Challenges and setbacks are a vital part of learning, therefore I had some difficulties in ICT this quarter, but I remained calm and determined to conquer them. As we approach the end of the school year in our ICT class, I am grateful and thankful to our Almighty God for allowing me to complete the last quarter of this school year despite the Covid-19 pandemic. All I have to do now is put those lessons into practice in my daily life since I know that  they are important and will always be relevant in my life as a student-person. Viva Vigan Binatbatan Festival

Viva Vigan Binatbatan Festival of the Arts celebrated from the last week of April to the first week of May was originally the Feast of the Natives that began on May 3, 1883, according to the writings of Damaso King, a well-known Vigan historian.  Binatbatan Festival celebrations, which includes a street dancing competition. Binatbatan dancing is connected to Vigan’s abel Iloco craft. The dance depicts how cotton pods are beaten with bamboo sticks to release the cotton fluff called batbat from its seed. This festival was started in 2002 to showcase this traditional weaving craft that is said to predate the arrival of the Spaniards. This summer festival,  crafted in 1993 to nurture the pride of Bigueños in their unique and and historic city,  it serves as one of the biggest and most colorful cultural attractions in the city of Vigan. Fifteen years ago, a noble idea developed in the minds of a group of civic spirited Ilocanos who wanted to promote cultural awareness and preserve the rich historical and cultural heritage of Ilocos Norte. They wanted to rekindle in the youth and future generations the pride of their heritage.
